Long time no post!

So, life has settled into normalcy back in the US, and I've spent the last several months working very hard to achieve it! Of course this is in some ways a little hard for me - as living in the US means its much harder to bounce all over different continents to visit different countries! No worries though, I've been doing my best to not sit still for 15 minutes and see places in my new home base - Rockville, MD.

Most recently, I went on the yearly vacation with my family - which was oooooh so nice! Cape Cod gets better every year! I wasn't as good about taking pictures this time around, but apparently my Mom got a few to prove I was there. ;-) (Kayaking, nonetheless!)

Kayaking on the Bass River.

Before that, the beau and I did a quick trip to Harper's Ferry, which I absolutely recommend to anyone. History, great restaurants, yet quaint and relaxing, it's great place to make visit for a day or two and is totally inexpensive.

And, in between all of this, a trip to Baltimore was taken. I think it's really important to get out there as often as possible to explore new places and try new things!

In front of Charm City Cakes, the location of the Food Network Show "Ace of Cakes". Check them out - they make ridiculous confections!

I've got so much more I want to share, but not posting for so long will give a person a lot to go through! I hope to post more often with more exciting pictures and some interesting tidbits about the places I visit to intrigue the mind!
